Dear colleagues and friends,
ESPR 2014 has come to an end!
With more than 700 delegates from 60 countries, it has been a true global meeting including more than 80 invited lectures, 114 scientific oral presentations, 150 scientific poster presentations, and a unique social program with special acts from members of our society. Overall, the scientific level of the meeting has been very high. And, based on the many compliments we already did receive during and after the meeting, I think that we have succeeded in creating the optimal atmosphere to meet with professionals from all over the world that are dedicated to the many aspects of paediatric radiology.
I am delighted to announce that, where permission was given, the speaker and poster presentations are now available through this website. Furthermore, we have some glorious photographs from the meeting which we uploaded to the website, and if you have any which you wish to share please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org and they will be uploaded onto this website too. Please visit the relevant tab under Meeting information to access these pages.
Due to the high scientific level of the oral and poster presentations, the selection process of the award winners has been very competitive. The ESPR awards committee, led by Prof. Karen Rosendahl (Bergen, NO), has done a tremendous and challenging job scoring all presentations and selecting the award winning presentations. The list with ESPR 2014 award winners can be found at the relevant tab under meeting information.
Congratulations to all of our award winners!
Finally, I want to thank all participants and sponsors for making ESPR 2014 a very successful, memorable scientific and social event. It has been a great honor and pleasure for me to organize this meeting for you together with the local organizing committee. We really did celebrate paediatric radiology!
I look forward to seeing you at future ESPR meetings!
On behalf of the local organizing committee,
Rutger A.J. Nievelstein
President ESPR 2014
